Brown Bag Luncheon featuring Frank Munger

Pack a lunch and join us for a discussion of hot topics in nuclear and global security. This month’s joint INS and Baker Center Global Security Brown Bag featured speaker is Frank Munger, senior reporter from the Knoxville News-Sentinel and the force behind the Atomic City Underground blog.

The talk will be titled “Covering Y-12: It’s not as much fun as you might think.

Frank Munger is senior writer and columnist for the Knoxville News Sentinel, where he has covered the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge operations for 30-plus years. He also is creator and chief operating officer of the 6-year-old news blog, “Frank Munger’s Atomic City Underground.” He began his career as a copy editor and editorial page assistant at The Commercial Appeal, a Scripps newspaper in Memphis, and later served as editorial page editor of the Evansville (Indiana) Press. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee.
