ORTEC will be conducting briefing and equipment demonstration on Thursday April 11th. ORTEC will conduct one hour briefings at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM in the Secret City Meeting Room of the Oak Ridge Comfort Inn. Each briefing is identical and will cover the latest ORTEC offerings for nuclear detection and identification. Various USG organizations (and others) deploy ORTEC technologies in the Global War on Terrorism will be covered.
After each briefing session, ORTEC will be demonstrating the new Detective-200 Mobile Search System and the Detective-200 Choke Point Monitoring System. In addition, there will be a demonstration of the Micro-Detective, the standard all other RIIDs are compared to for portable isotopic identification. For those interested, a tour of ORTEC Oak Ridge Manufacturing Facility will be conducted including a demonstration of the Detective – Spectroscopic Portal Monitor (SPM) after each briefing session.
