VIRTUAL DETERRENCE WEEK

The University of Tennessee’s Institute for Nuclear Security and U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), through the Academic Alliance, have partnered to offer a series of events comprising Virtual Deterrence Week. Two virtual panel sessions and a hybrid table top exercise will be hosted the week of October 5th. Additional information regarding each event and registration instructions are located below.

Deterrence Table Top Exercise

November 5, 2020, 10:00 AM EST to 3:00 PM EST

Table top will be rescheduled. You may still register below and we will send updated information as it becomes available.

Take part in a table top exercise facilitated by UT and USSTRATCOM involving a multidisciplinary response to a hypothetical national security scenario.

In person participation is limited to UT affiliated personnel only.

All in person participants are required to follow the following COVID protection protocols:

  • All participants must complete pre-screening at selfscreen.utk.edu  prior to attending. 
  • All participants must wear a mask at all times and practice social distancing. 
  • Drinking and snacks are allowed but participants are asked to minimize anything that requires removing masks.
  • Participants are asked to remain with their teams and not to intermingle with other teams. No large groups are to congregate at this event. 
  • Participants are asked to keep to the same seat/area during the event.
