New Graduate Student Fellowships

The DHS Coastal Hazards Center of Excellence is offering two new fellowships for graduate students to study coastal hazards at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Recipients must be U.S. citizens pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. with a concentration in either coastal hazards modeling through the UNC-Ch Department of Marine Sciences or hazards management planning through the UNC-Ch Department of City and Regional Planning.

  • full graduate tuition costs at UNC
  • $25,000 annual stipend
  • exposure to researchers and practitioners in the hazards community

A flyer with more details about the fellowships is attached to this email. Please post it to your websites and newsletters and circulate it by listserves. If possible, also please post printed copies to bulletin boards.
